out of the blue, KDE is refusing to start up - I get the splash screen, but after several minutes, it is replaced with a message:

There was an error setting up inter-process communications for KDE. THe message returned by the system was:


Could not read network connection list.
/Users/bduncan/.DCOPserver_Brett.local__0

Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running!

And once I click on the OK button, X11 quits.

Can anyone tell me how I might correct this problem? (If it's relevant, I'm running Apple's X11 v1.0, and KDE 3.2)
