Some days ago I wrote about some compiling problems due to the freetype-replacement I installed in order to improve the font rendering in OpenOffice.
I deleted the whole X11 and made a clean install of X11 from my Panther cd's. The install of Bundle-kde-ssl worked fine after this. However, I still get error messages related to Texmacs.
Texmacs is reinstalles well enough, but when attemting to start it, I get the reply:
'Th-ger-Juul-Thorsens-computer:~ thoeger$ texmacs &

Th-ger-Juul-Thorsens-computer:~ thoeger$ dyld: texmacs.bin version mismatch for library: /usr/X11R6/lib/libfreetype.6.dylib (compatibility version of user: 10.0.0 greater than library's version: 6.3.0)

Did you reinstall or rebuild it? If you didn't "fink rebuild" it then it may be linked against your old freetype.
Second:
I tried installing Gaim-ssl, but it quits configure saying that I lack gtk+2, which I don't. An install of gaim with ssl disabled didn't cause me any trouble. Any idea what this is about? Might in any subtle way be related to my freetype-problems?
Not likely.
Here's a question: when you installed gaim (rather than gaim-ssl) did the package build or was there a binary available on your machine already.
You might want to check the config.log file in the gaim-ssl build directory to see what the error was.
