A long time ago I installed KDE.

But I've not used it now for about a year and the chances of doing so get smaller I'm afraid. It would not be such a problem if it actually re-built, but it has now been a week and I'm still whittling down the hundreds of mini-packages that demand to be re-built. I think the order of re-builds is busted so that it tried to build a piece that needs another piece that isn't there yet. Eventually, you can get it. But for a package I never use, this is now too much.

Is there a way to simply get rid of KDE without having to find and remove each tiny component individually?
