I never used Fink Commander. But since my installation is not working, so I
downloaded a new Fink Commander first, than I reinstalled

It would be better not to mix possible problems of FinkCommander with problems of your xfree86 packages.

xfree86    4.3.99.16-2

But I have the feeling, that I will have to reinstall everything :-( Console
is giving following errors :

Mac OS X Version 10.3.6 (Build 7R28) 2004-11-09 05:46:50 +0100 2004-11-09 06:00:50.817 FinkCommander[410] Checking for FinkCommander update

2004-11-09 06:04:33.336 FinkCommander[460] LSOpenFromURLSpec() returned
-10814 for application (null) path

This looks like you don't have a default browser defined, i.e. a configuration problem of Safari or maybe some interference with a third-party helper application.

/sw/fink/10.3/stable/main/finkinfo/x11-system/xfree86.patch.

dyld: /Applications/XDarwin.app/Contents/MacOS/XDarwin can't open library:
/usr/X11R6/lib/libfreetype.6.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

Here you seem to want to start XDarwin. Why? Don't try to start it while it is broken.
