Have you considered using gmane? It provides both web (http://) and NNTP (news://) access to the fink-* mailing lists. You get threading, full archives, searching, ability to post, tracking of new vs. read msgs, ability to post, ability to score msgs and threads based on poster or keyword, etc. You can use your favorite web-browser or news client. > Maybe there is a means of doing this, but if so i missed it. I don't know of any such plans right now; our mailing lists are hosted by SourceForge which does not supply RSS feeds of them nor allow us to hack the list software. Maybe file this as a feature-request to SorceForge itself? Alternately, someone could run an external email->RSS gateway on his own machine. A discussion of that might be better-placed on fink-devel. dan -- Daniel Macks [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.netspace.org/~dmacks ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Sybase ASE Linux Express Edition - download now for FREE LinuxWorld Reader's Choice Award Winner for best database on Linux. http://ads.osdn.com/?ad_id=5588&alloc_id=12065&op=click _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
