I recently formatted my machine and re-installed everything. I just re-installed Fink and tried to use SetFile to hide /sw the way I used to have it. I typed:

sudo /Developer/Tools/SetFile -a V /sw

It didn't work this time. The command executes without any errors but /sw is still very visible, even after a restart.

I've tried several more times to hide /sw and also tried running SetFile while booted off an external drive. Nothing works. Any solutions?

Thanks,
Evan
