I'll be gone for a couple of weeks and when I return I'd like to get some help on switching from xfree86 to x.org after all I've read about it being a better version with transparency and all. I'd want to know how to remove xfree86 without bunging up all the dependencies.
This is actually not a problem: if you install xorg, xfree86 is automatically replaced.
I could then use your qt3-3.3.3-26.deb file and hopefully be on my way! If there are any FAQ on this I haven't seen them as yet. Anyway, I'll be in touch in a bit.

I downloaded and almost got xorg installed but obviously I need to remove some old clutter. Can you help?
