Hello all,
I know this is probably weird but here goes.
I would like console access to a Cisco router with terminal.app. Not Zterm or another outdated shareware product but the terminal app that comes standard with OSX. I figure there should be a way to point/redirect the terminal to a serial (USB) port. Telnet from terminal works great. I have no problems accessing the device over the network once it has an initial setup via the console port . I just want to be able to do the initial configuration of the router without needing to go to a 3rd party solution.
Does someone know of a tool or instructions that already exits on the Fink site that will do this or else how to configure terminal to use a usb port.
