With RPM, I can use the --list parameter when querying packages (installed or uninstalled) to get a list of all files that they contain. How can I do this in Fink? Based on the man page and FAQ, this doesn't seem possible, although Fink Commander can do it... Thanks,

"dpkg -c filename.deb" if you have the deb file, or "dpkg -L packagename" if it is installed.

That works great; thanks!

But shouldn't these commands be mapped to the "fink" command? For instance, if you do "fink remove <package>", then this maps to "dpkg --remove <package>". I would have expected there to be a similar mapping from, say, "fink listfiles <package>" to "dpkg -L <package>". Perhaps the semantic differences between installed/uninstalled packages explains why this was not implemented?
