Actually, it wouldn't even be necessary to remove share/doc because - just as in the case of lint1 - the html docs are already contained in the sources, so this whole gtk-doc business is unnecessary. OTOH there are not yet ConfigureParams nor BuildScript fields in the libgnomecanvas2.info file, so such a change would require some work.

Downgrading gtk-doc seems to have done the trick:
