Fair question, I typed 'bash' at the prompt like I always do. :-) Ever since it was announced that 10.3 was using bash as default and I discovered the downright handy bash command history, I have invoked it after opening a session. (I never felt the need to change the default, but now that I'm using 10.3, and Apple decided to change the default shell, I figure I ought to follow suit--especially if I'm going to help other folks who have the default set-up.)
