Hi, I am a bigtime newbie with Fink. I have been trying to get
Evolution up and
running. I got to the
point where it started to compile, but then I got the following error:

Install libsoup-ssl then install evolution--luckily everything is already built so it shouldn't take too long.

Hi Alexander, thanks for the quick response.... so I think I have installed
libsoup-ssl as per your suggestion.

Presuming I did that right, do I need to do anything special to try the
re-installof Evolution? Will libsoup-ssl be in the right place when Fink tries
to install evolution, etc? Is there any clean up I should do before I retry to
install Evolution, or does Fink manage that for me?

Thanks again for the reply.

Andrew.

Everything should be fine--libsoup doesn't even have any files in it, so I'm not sure why evolution has a dependency on it.
