Being the accountant of a minor organisation, I considered moving our book-keeping to GNUCash.
Installing GNUCash didn't go very well, though: The installation of GNUCash seems to depend on db3, which the installer itself removes during installation! Here is the somewhat funny output I get: Th-ger-Juul-Thorsens-computer:~ thoeger$ fink install gnucash Information about 4875 packages read in 21 seconds. The following package will be installed or updated: gnucash The following 14 additional packages will be installed: db43-ssl gal19 gal19-shlibs gal21 gal21-shlibs gnome-core-dev gnome-core-shlibs gtkhtml-dev gtkhtml-shlibs gtkhtml1.1-dev gtkhtml1.1-shlibs guile16-dev guppi16-dev guppi16-shlibs Do you want to continue?
