My unstable fink on Mac OS X 10.3 has scilab version 3.0-6 installed
and working well.
The Scilab homepage advertises a Darwin version thus:

Scilab 3.1.1 gtk version for MacOSX/fink (built from official sources)

- Prerequisites : install fink, the Developper Tools (Xcode 1.2 on
your Mac OSX cd) and the Apple X11 server. This version
has been built on 10.3.9, but installs fine under 10.4 also.
Is this better or can do it more?
