ethereal doesn't seems to recognise the new darwin kernel if i get it well , any of you knows a workaround or a way to fix this ?

What is the result of 'which uname'? If it's anything other than '/usr/bin/uname' then you have a broken uname in your $PATH, possibly from GNU coreutils. Remove or rename it and try building again.
I just built ethereal and it correctly identified my system as powerpc-apple-darwin8.1.0. |
