I was wandering thru my .deb files and see that I still have earlier
versions of kdepim3-base, being 3.4.0-14. I have currently installed and
not working version 3.4.1-11. How do I revet back to the earlier version
and thereby possibly regain use of Kmail and Kaddressbook? Once the
current version reaches the stable tree I can update to it.

Distribution version: 0.7.2.rsync
