In my ongoing saga to get a functional Kmail, kaddressbook, kontact
suite (in lieu of a busted Evolution) I was going to install
"debfoster" to check dependencies:

this made me realize I had some version inconsistencies in my effort to
downgrade packages in hopes that the earlier versions would create
functionality. As my earlier posts stated it didn't work but with the
message above I downgraded everything listed except gpgme11 because I
have no idea what its needed for. In any case, the downgrading has
achieved a working Kontact3.4 with a working Kmail "new message", which
had been crashing. I still have no Kaddressbook. I thought this may be
helpful in some manner and that could lead to some ideas on how to get
my Kaddressbook back.
