Thanks for the reply. For the meantime I would leave bootstrapping
till the newer release of of Fink is available.

On the another hand, I have stumbled across another issue. As I
mentioned I am installing Fink on the XServer and binaries install in
/sw. I wanted the packages installed, using Fink (ex Nedit), to be
accessible from other nodes of the cluster. To meet that, I was doing
a NFS mount of /sw, but was not able to access the installed software
(Nedit).


If anyone came across such a problem earlier or has some suggestions
to tackle this problem, it would be very helpful.
