[Fink-beginners] OpenOffice.org: gtk+-2.0 not found

Hi,

System: PowerMac G5, OS X 10.3.9, Xcode 1.5, Apple's X11, CVS update

With your help, I have now been able to compile all the dependences of OpenOffice.org.
Unfortunately I still get an error when building OOo itself:

FinkCommander shows that gtk+ , gtk+-data, gtk+-shlibs, (v 1.2.10-27); gtk+2, gtk+2-dev, gtk+2-shlibs (v 2.6.8-1) and gtk-doc (v1.3-11) are installed.
FinkCommander " Browse Package Files" for gtk+2 shows files in /sw/bin such as gdk-pixbuf-csource etc.

I do not know if this is related, but when I successfully (as far as I can tell), rebuilt  gtk+2 followed by "Dist-Upgrade Packages" I got this error:

"apt-get update" ran with no apparent errors and a repeat "Dist-Upgrade Packages" ran with no errors this time.
OOo will still not compile though.

echoing PKG_CONFIG_PATH in X11 or Terminal does not show anything and  I have not tried to manually set it until I hear from you.
