*grr*. So fontconfig2 is dynamic+static on 10.4 but static-only on
10.3? The issue here is that the version of freetype2 in Apple's 10.3
X11 is too old. What version of freetype2 does Tiger X11 have? OTOH,
we also have to contend with X11 from xfree86 and x.org pkgs, so maybe
it is better from a maintenance standpoint to use fink's freetype2 pkg
in all cases, and either get a .dylib for 10.3 or use the .a on 10.4
also.
