I'm trying to install Vnc, which appears to be the krdc package (for KDE anyway), and after a long compile, etc. process, the procedure ends with these messages:

Looks as though it doesn't want to trash the existing X11 installation. Assuming I want to keep my X11 installation, I am directed to install "system-xfree86 resp. system-xtools". Now what does that mean?
I keep telling the maintainer this--this text is obsolete in any case.
