deb file:/sw/fink local bootstrap
would meet that. What does it mean? Is it something I should change.
My installation is standard except for the items I've installed using
Fink. No idea what might have caused it if it's non-standard.

That's strange--I'm not sure why that's there....
Basically this just tells the Fink binary tools (e.g. apt-get) to look
in your /sw/fink/dists/local/boostrap directory for packages. You can
go ahead and remove this line (you'll need to eidit sources.list as
root)--you'll never build new stuff in that directory.
