Hi,

I have installed Fink with no problems or warning. Then I get this
form FC

   Reading Package Lists...
   Building Dependency Tree...
The following NEW packages will be installed:
     detex
0 packages upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 16.6kB of archives. After unpacking 77.8kB will be used.
   Get:1 http://bindist.finkmirrors.net 10.4-transitional/release/main detex
2.7-2 [16.6kB]
   Fetched 16.6kB in 3s (4586B/s)
dpkg (subprocess): failed to exec dpkg-split to see if it's part of a
multiparter: No such file or directory
   dpkg: error processing
/sw/var/cache/apt/archives/detex_2.7-2_darwin-powerpc.deb (--unpack):
subprocess dpkg-split returned error exit status 2
   Errors were encountered while processing:
   /sw/var/cache/apt/archives/detex_2.7-2_darwin-powerpc.deb
   E: Sub-process /sw/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

When I change the default path to fink files from /sw to /sw/bin:/sw/sbin
as suggested in FAQ then I get

Error: FinkCommander was unable to determine the owner of
/sw/bin:/sw/sbin/bin/apt-get.
For security reasons, FinkCommander will not run
/sw/bin:/sw/sbin/bin/apt-get unless it can determine that it is owned by root.

What is up?

Everything woirks fine if I do it from a command line.

Best,
