Sorry--I thought you replied onlist and I didn't have anything to add immediately. I asked about the X11 flavor in case others are having the same issue. Interestingly enough, I have (Xorg): lrwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 29 Jun 28 18:37 /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb -> ../../../../usr/X11R6/etc/xkb (where /private/etc/X11 is a symlink to /usr/X11R6/etc) And I did successfully build libxklavier1--which is why I thought this might be an Apple X11ism. > > On Sep 18, 2005, at 9:29 PM, Alexander K.
