After fresh install of fink
Package manager version: 0.23.10
Distribution version: 0.8.0.cvs
Using the binary installer I run the fink selfupdate
No matter which of the three options I choose I end up
with the same error at the end:
gzip -dc /sw/src/fink-0.24.10.tar.gz | /sw/bin/tar -xf
- --no-same-owner --no-same-permissions
make test
Usage: ./setup.sh <prefix>
Example: ./setup.sh /sw
make: *** [test_setup] Error 1
### execution of make failed, exit code 2
Failed: compiling fink-0.24.10-21 failed
I am using OS X version 10.4.2 and XCode Tools 2.0
gcc --version gives:
powerpc-apple-darwin8-gcc-4.0.0 (GCC) 4.0.0 20041026
(Apple Computer, Inc. build 4061)
I had a look at the FAQs and the mailing list archives
but couldn't see anything.
Any suggestion ?
