TeXmacs neither depends nor build-depends on any flavor of emacs, and it does require X11. It's not an extension to an existing emacs but is an editor in its own right. As for a virtual package--there is only the "emacsen" functionality that is provided by all of the various Fink *emacs* packages. -- Alexander K.
