basically i just want to install a gui for x11 or xdarwin i installed
tetex was this a mistake ? thought it might cure the tetex error that
kept appearing when trying to install kde bundle ssl

If you have tetex installed, you don't want to install system-tetex.

Just repeat the last command you tried and see if it still proposes to install system-tetex (assuming you didn't require explicitly to install it). It shouldn't, and if it still does, there is a bug somewhere that would need to be caught.
