Hi,
with Tiger 10.4.3, fink 0.8.0, finkcommander 0.5.4 and Apple's X11 and X11SDk , I installed also Gerben Wierda's teTex (via i-installer) and Ghostscript 8 via i-installer. I did fink scanpackages, fink index and selfupdate-rsync, update- all, and ticked the box in the FinkCommander preferences "allow unstable packages". Now "fink -V | head -2" writes :
Package manager version: 0.24.11
Distribution version: 0.8.0.rsync
Now when I select gthumb in Fink commander, or when I write in Terminal "fink install gthumb" I get the same error:
 Information about 4911 packages read in 1 seconds.
Failed: Illegal spec format: popt-shlibs (>= 1.5-1) x11
..and that's all!
I searched in this list, and fink-users also, but found nothing that worked (I tried grep -r -H -I "popt-shlibs (>= 1.5-1) x11" /sw/ fink but it doesn't give me any answer...)
 Please, could someone help me?
I mention also that I installed the system-tetex, system-ghostscript8 and xdvi-system-tetex packages from source via FinkCommander.
Thanks for your help.
