OK, I guess I didn't give up yet. So based on studying the output of my last error (post .deb copying), I decided to see if there were any gcc4 files in the /sw/fink/dist/unstable... directory. There were. So I copied them to the faulty (Mini) computer and tried it install again. This was the result:

Seems pretty odd to me that this would happen so easily or so quickly ... just 2 minutes, 7 seconds. All that head bashing for such a simple answer. The trick is that I'm learning more and more about how to interpret the output and solve the problems. I must thank Alexander for his dedication to this list and it's users. Without his help I'd still be a Fink idiot without many packages even being installed. Thank you!!
