Yes, but I did it again and this time it shows up.
So I guess it has to do with setting the preferences in Fink Commander?
Most of the time I want to be able to use the stable version so that
was my
default in Fink Commander. I did a self-update yesterday without the
"use unstable packages"
option checked.
I discovered mkisofs was only available in 'unstable' so I changed the
fink commander preferences to "use unstable"
and looked for mkisofs. It did not show up.
After doing another self-update with "use unstable", mkisofs now
shows up.
This wasn't obvious. but I guess it makes sense.

The mkisofs package is on the web site.
I've set my preferences for 'unstable' in fink commander since I'm
running 10.4 and the page
says only unstable is available.
But "fink install mkisofs" or trying to list the package
does not return anything.
Does this package no longer exist?
