Hi,
I usually connect on a remote server using "ssh -X [EMAIL PROTECTED]" to
activate the X forwarding.
But SOMETIMES, I get the following kind of message when trying to open a
remote program (for example nedit) :
"
X Error of failed request: BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 18 (X_ChangeProperty)
Atom id in failed request: 0x12e
Serial number of failed request: 12
Current serial number in output stream: 15
"
It doesn't always happen, it depends on what programs I opened locally
before doing it (kwrite, nedit, ... locally) and also depends on what remote
program I am trying to open.
I am having this problem, sometimes, since the beginning of the present
installation of Fink and MacOS X 10.4. I never had that problem with my
previous installation of Fink (with MacOS X 10.3).
If you can help me with that, that'd be nice.
