| Hi, I have a powerbook intel duo core, but when I launch the command "set" in an xterm, I obtain, in particular, the following lines : BASH_VERSINFO=([0]="2" [1]="05b" [2]="0" [3]="1" [4]="release" [5]="powerpc-apple-darwin8.0") HOSTTYPE=powerpc MACHTYPE=powerpc-apple-darwin8.0 I would have hope to see i386 instead of powerpc :-). Then, when I tried to compile xfig I have the following message : dpkg -i /sw/fink/dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-i386/x11/app-defaults_20010814-12_darwin-i386.deb dpkg: error processing /sw/fink/dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-i386/x11/app-defaults_20010814-12_darwin-i386.deb (--install): package architecture (darwin-i386) does not match system (darwin-powerpc) Errors were encountered while processing: /sw/fink/dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-i386/x11/app-defaults_20010814-12_darwin-i386.deb ### execution of dpkg failed, exit code 1 Failed: can't install package app-defaults-20010814-12 Do you know this problem ?
