Do another selfupdate. The autoconf-2.60-4 package was updated a month ago to fix this bug. [] > rm /sw/src/fink.build/root-autoconf-2.60-4/sw/share/emacs/site-lisp/ > autoconf- > de.elc The newer version has "rm -f" in this line instead of simply "rm".
