That does explain why the group "games" was added,
although I still don't quite understand why so many
other changes are made to the Netinfo database.  For
instance, I noticed that one of the users/groups added
(icecast) relates apparently to a streaming media
server, and it seems like an odd thing for a simple X
game like Space Invaders to need or use.  And that
"icecast" user/group is not apparently used for
assigning permissions to files or directories. 
However, I think I'm satisfied that the Netinfo
changes aren't malicious; that was really my primary
concern.
