Hello,
I'm trying to compile new version of gnuplot with support for xWidgets
(from CVS sources, not from fink), however the step where it checks
for pangocairo fails.
I'm using unstable packages with rsync.
In the fink tree I have cairo 1.2.4-2 installed and the following
pango packages:
pango1 [virtual package]

I've read somewhere that pangocairo should be built automatically if
cairo is installed and pango finds it automatically, so just to make
sure that cairo has been installed before I have rebuilt all the three
packages mentioned above and tried to 'fink install
pango1-xft2-ft219'. During configuration step I spotted the following
message:
checking for XFT... avoiding cairo
So my question should probably be: how can I get/install pangocairo library?

Here's what I get during configuration of gnuplot:
checking for wx-config... /sw/bin/wx-config
checking for pkg-config... /sw/bin/pkg-config
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes
checking for CAIROPANGO... configure: WARNING: Package requirements
(cairo >= 0.9.0 pango >= 1.10 pangocairo >= 1.10) for the
wxWidgets terminal were not met:
No package 'pangocairo' found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you can avoid the need to call pkg-config if you set the
environment variables CAIROPANGO_CFLAGS and CAIROPANGO_LIBS to the
corresponding flags for cairo, pango, and pangocairo.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
The wxWidgets terminal will not be compiled.
