Note that many fink package maintainers do not (yet) have access to OS X on
Intel hardware, so you may have better luck on the mailing lists.
I guess it's this line: "make: *** No rule to make target
`/System/Library/Perl/5.8.6/darwin-thread-multi-2level/CORE/config.h',
needed by `Makefile'. Stop." but I don't know what that means or how to fix
it.

insufficient information to proceed, since _any_ error would result in
