i am also new to the list and i am having some issues that maybe someone can help me with. i had mac os 10.3 on my comp and upgraded to 10.4. then i tried to install fink and i do not have an "sw" folder for fink to install into. i tried making the folder but that did not work. so fink will not create a path because it is not being put into the right location. i don't know if anyone else has had this problem but if you have and were able to fix it let me know. thanks.
