So I was able to reproduce this while I was testing some other stuff.
Apparently commenting out the INTLTOOL bits in pilot-link's .pc file
with "dnl" is not enough; if you remove it entirely it works (or at
least, it did for me).  Ugh.

Please install the new pilot-link10 and then update libbonobo2 and see
if it works for you...
