a 'declare -f' during a normal bash session reveals append_path and prepend_path as defined, some investigation revealed to me that they are used by /sw/bin/init.sh to prepare the environment for installed fink software. my issue is that i would like to have a clean environment. is it safe to append commands to the end of init.sh to dedeclare these functions. what are those commands btw :) -danny rubio
