Hello. I'm new to Fink, and my problem is probably rather simple, but ... I'm trying to install gnucash on os 10.4. I'm getting various compile errors. Searching the lists, it seems that there are sometimes dependency issues that cause problems, so I looked to see what dependencies gnucash has. One of the programs it wants is gettext-tools.
In Fink Commander, I uninstalled an old version of gettext-tools, and built a newer version. I can see that the latest binary and source available are the later version and match. But, I cannot seem to install the binary. The messages indicuate it's up to date, or something, no errors, but Fink Commander continues to show it's not installed. Is this a Commander issue? Should I avoid commander and use the command line? Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
