That's an old version--our current one uses separate valknut-aqua and 
valknut-x11 packages. 
Our valknut-0.3.5 was for x11 only, and didn't built a Mac application 
bundle, but used a Unix-style executable in /sw/bin.  You can see what 
it installed via the terminal:

dpkg -L valknut

If you want the Aqua Valknut, run a selfupdate-rsync to get the latest 
package description.
