Hello, I have noticed that fink has set a number of environment variables (like QTDIR, KDEDIR, ...) that are also set when /sw/bin/init.sh is not sourced even when the shell is not even executed (for example Emacs started from Spotlight). Since I desperately try to set $LANG for applications that are started this way I wonder where fink set these variables?
