I used this concise set of steps to get my fink install up on my new Macbook:
http://www.nabble.com/Fink-GnuCash-Reinstall-on-MacIntel-Leopard-td15174587.html One frustrating thing I noticed even when following these great instructions is that the "Installation Fast Track" that he referenced (http://www.finkproject.org/doc/bundled/install-fast.php) has a completely different version of fink in all its examples (I guess it's an old binary? ==> 0.8.11), and no indication of where one might find the latest version of Fink for Leopard (currently there is no binary, so the source distribution 0.28.1 must be used). It would be great if some enterprising Fink documenter added a link or something; in fact, it would even be more wonderful if that documenter used the above steps with the aforementioned modifications to create a "lightning fast track" or something, or at least a separate Fast Track for Leopard.
