Hello,
I have the following "tetex"s installed (I'm not sure if I indeed
intstalled anything) and I would like to install lilypond:
bundle-tetex [virtual package]
i system-tetex 20010808-15 Placeholder package for
manually installed teTeX
tetex 3.0-1006 Complete distribution of
the TeX typesetting system
p tetex-base [virtual package]
tetex-dev 2.0.2-1047 Developer files for a
teTeX installation (v.2.0)
p tetex-macosx [virtual package]
tetex-nox 3.0-1006 Complete distribution of
the TeX typesetting system
tetex-nox-base 3.0-1006 Base programs for a teTeX
installation
tetex-shlibs 2.0.2-1047 Shared libraries for a
teTeX installation (v.2.0)
p tetex-texmf [virtual package]
tetex3-base [virtual package]
xdvi-system-tetex 22.78-1 Display dvi files under
X11 (system-tetex version)
now I get:
fink needs help picking an alternative to satisfy a virtual
dependency. The candidates:
(1) ptex-base: ASCII publishing TeX
(2) ptex-nox-base: ASCII publishing TeX
(3) tetex-nox-base: Base programs for a teTeX installation
(4) tetex-base: Base programs for a teTeX installation
Is there some way to avoid installing tetex? Please, let me know the
answer is yes?
Thanks a lot,
Mojca
PS: Are there any tendencies to keep fink's packages a bit more
up-to-date than they are now, or should one better move to macports?
