Hi,

I'm getting errors trying to install libglade2

Googling found many people with same problem, but no answers that I
could find.

FAQ mentioned perhaps moving /usr/local temporarily, but doesn't
solve this problem.
(/usr/local does not exist in the example below).

Tried fink selfupdate / fink index / fink scanpackages to no avail.

Tried sudo apt-get libglade2 which worked (fink list libglade listed
it as installed) but the next package that required libglade2 still
tried to go for a compile with same error.

I'm stuck. Can someone point me to more info, or perhaps suggest
something I've missed?

regards,
Marc

Before reporting any errors, please run "fink selfupdate" and
try again. If you continue to have issues, please check to see if the
FAQ on fink's website solves the problem. If not, ask on the fink-users
or fink-beginners mailing lists, with a carbon copy to the maintainer:

The Gnome Core Team <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Note that this is preferable to emailing the maintainer directly, since
most fink package maintainers do not have access to all possible
hardware and software configurations.
