This is solved. I finally have xpdf working.
Here are the steps I followed:
- update Mac Os X to 10.5.5
- Install XCode Dev
- $ sudo fink selfupdate-rsync
- $ sudo fink update-all
(Ensure every package related to Motif3 is installed)
- $ sudo fink rebuild xpdf
(now install the generated deb package)
- $ sudo dpkg -i /sw/fink/10.5/unstable/main/
binary-darwin-i386/text/xpdf_3.02-1003_darwin-i386.deb

Indeed, I wanted to send the whole output, but I forgot to attach the file
(this is why I tee in /tmp/output).
Thanks,
Stéphane.
