You don't actually need unstable here.  What's going on is that you
haven't run a selfupdate by a method that will get you off of the point
release, which didn't have g95.  Feel free to deactivate unstable if you
want, and then use

fink selfupdate
fink selfupdate-rsync

which will update some of the base packages and download a package
description for g95 for you.  You can then install it.
