The only thing I remember is that fink had updated the mirror list recently, and just since that update I get these error messages. > That, on the other hand, is due to this versioned gstreamer-0.10 not > actually being ready for stable due to not having all of the listed > dependencies available in that tree. Hmm, changing to unstable would only be the final option to me (or maybe that second final one - the very final one woule be to do a complete new installation of all the fink stuff). I tried a few years ago and ended up with the need to revert to a (thankfully made directly before) backup of the /sw tree. This has been before my mailing list subscription. Since I am planning to buy a new computer in the near future I'll thinking of setting the unstable tree as the default from beginning on to avoid that mess. Unless I get further problems due to an incomplete update I therefore prefer to leave it now as it is and try an update from time to time. You know - never change a running system ;-) Best wishes, Ingo -- ========================================== Ingo Thies Argelander-Institut fuer Astronomie (AIfA) Sternwarte, University of Bonn Auf dem Huegel 71, D-53121 Bonn, Germany Tel : +49 (0)228 73-3659 Mail: [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Apps built with the Adobe(R) Flex(R) framework and Flex Builder(TM) are powering Web 2.0 with engaging, cross-platform capabilities.
