Hi All,
I've been using denyhosts-py25 for over a year now with great
success. Catches and logs all kinds of break in attempts. However,
at the end of last month it stopped working. When the daemon goes to
start up it hangs at the point:
2009-07-09 18:49:58,518 - prefs : INFO WORK_DIR: [/sw/
share/denyhosts-py25/data]
The daemon never starts up. I haven't changed anything and have not
done any Fink or package updates in months.
I did remove the denyhosts-py25.pid file and tried to restart the
daemon, but no luck.
I never clear out any of the log files, thus keeping a never ending
list of break in attempts.
Any ideas?
I'm running 10.5.7. Back a year ago, denyhosts had been dormant for a
while, so it took a bit of tinkering to get it running in 10.5. But
it looks like the maintainer is active again, or there is a new
maintainer.
