Fink removal from Alexander Hansen Run this in Terminal: sudo rm -rf /sw /usr/X11R6 /Library/Receipts/X11 I used Alexander Hansen¹s steps, then also deleted /usr/x11, installed x11 again from the Leopard upgrade DVD and installed the x11 sdk from the Optional installs on the DVD. Also needed are the developer tools, of course, which I downloaded from the Developer Connection in case they were more recent than the version on the DVD. Then I upgraded to 10.6.1 before following the instructions linked from the Fink home page.
